Dear Asustor Users:

To provide a better quality of service, Ausutor DDNS server will temporary malfunction or may not work properly these two days .

Since we have changed our Asustor ID/DDNS server location to Amazon, it does take sometimes to synchronize the information from the old one to the new one.

We estimate to finish the synchronization at 21:00 on July, 22, 2014.

Posted by Quote Lin on 16 January 2014 03:05 AM

Posted by Elsa Lau on 16 October 2013 08:41 PM

Java

         a. Java Control Panel"

Enable Java in browser

Java"

Use Java for file explorer with ADM2.0 and later
Posted by Quote Lin on 16 January 2014 03:03 AM

Since File Explorer in ADM needs to work with Java, users can check if they have enable Java in their computer,

there are 2 options need to be enable so Java can work correctly, otherwise users might encounter File Explorer crash and not able to upload files larger than 2GB.

1.      Open Java control panel, then go to [Security] tab, make sure you ticked “Enable Java content in browser”

For Windows: you can use search function in start menu to open Java control panel

For Mac OSX: open “system preference” then you’ll be able to see Java’s icon and open the control panel.

Enable Java in browser

2.      In Safari, go to [Preference] > [Security] to check if you already ticked “Enable Java”

If you encounter any problem to open File Explorer after Java is enabled.

please visit their website to run Java version verification to make sure Java is installed correctly.

If Java is installed correctly, please go to Java Control Panel again, and try to lower the security level to medium by following step 1 above.
